The banners that were initially hung in 2023 will be given back to the purchasers this year after Veterans Day. The following is a list of each municipality from 2023, and where and when you can pick up your banner.
The Town of New Hartford @ the Town Clerks Office, 11/14 from 8-4 and 11/15 from 9-12
The Village of New Hartford @ the Village Hall from 9-4 or the DPW 12/13 from 8-12
Rome @ Rome City Hall Community Room Dec 2 from 2-7PM
Utica 11/29 @ the Utica Parkway Center 9-11AM and 12/2 4-5:30
Whitesboro The village clerk will be contacting purchasers.
Yorkville Beginning 11/17 @ the Village Clerks Office from 8-3
.A committee has been formed to proudly offer these 30" by 60" Banners for Veterans - our Hometown Heroes. They will be hung from just before Memorial Day to just after Veterans Day for 3 years.
The Committee is made up of members of the Oneida Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, The Military Order of the Purple Heart CNY Chapter 490, and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 944. Each of the 18 municipalities are very pleased to support the program.
The primary sponsors are NYSCOPBA, Harley Davidson of Utica and Adirondack Bank.
